Jahit Manik

Memule timbul rasa nk jahit manik ni bile nk bertunang. Maklumlah budget kecik je... so rs mcm x mampu nk buat baju tunang grand2. Lgpon ok jgk klu kite wat baju bese2 je pas2 utk menyerikan cket, tambah manik2... bole pakai baju tunang kite tu balik nk pi opis ke... atau nk pi majlis... Klu anta kat kedai jahit biasa ni jahit manik... x berkenan den dgn gabungan warna2 yg derang buat ni. Maklum la derang ramai lg customer lain yg order, mane de mase nk tilik2 warna ape yg ngam & bentuk mane sumer2 tu kan...

Tp byk jgk tempat yg jahit manik cun2 sgt... tp rsnye klu nk buat mcm bj tunang ni dlm lebey kurang RM100++. Fuhhhh.... Modal saya cume RM20 je... Ini la projek manik saya yg 1st skali... x pyh nk testing2 kat bj bese dulu... hentam je wat kat bj tunang terus...

Secondary School Paintings

I don't think I'm ever going to paint anymore ever. Not because I don't like it but I don't think I'll ever have the time & patience to deal with the mess. Besides, I'm a person with many interests and painting had been one of my past interest back in secondary school. I upload these paintings on the blog coz I hope to show to my grandchildren, see... hot grandmama also used to know how to paint (a little bit)

To tell the truth, all of these paintings are copied from pictures I saw from magazines, wrappers, etc. I have exactly no imagination of my own. Anyway, copying had not be so easy either.


I used to get Cs and Ds for my art subject, & then I read about the pitiful story of Vincent Van Gogh. It's about a man who had a deep love for art and he attended some sort of an art school and his teacher told him that he had no talent whatsoever. Luck was never on his side, his paintings can't be sold for even the cheapest price and he also failed miserably in his love life to the extent that he cut his own ear. But when he died people start noticing the value of his works.


Reading his autobiography suddenly spurred the interest in me & suddenly I started getting As for my art subject. But I can only copy other people's works and thus I admit I have no talent. The moral to me was, even you have no talent, if believe that you can do it, you surely can do it. Just like Nike slogan which I like very much 'Just Do It'. Having no talent only means that you do it at slower pace and at slightly lower quality than those who have got the talent but... YOU STILL CAN DO IT!!

Cross Stitch

I used to be crazy about cross stitch. 1 basic step... repeat... change the color, and taraaaa.... a beautiful picture. You don't even have to be gifted. & then you can hang your OWN masterpiece on the walls.

These are two simple patterns I'd made:

The patterns are not at all expensive but it's quite hard to find nice ones. So if you are interested in these patterns, I don't mind sharing them with you.

There are also some very very nice patterns you can find on the web. Some a free but many good patterns can be purchased at very low price. Here are some samples from the web.

Raya Rumah Boss - 17 Oct 08

Sebagai pembuka cerite ... map ke rumah boss kitorg mcm kat bwh ni... Map ni boss buat sendiri... bersungguh tu... kedatangan diambil !!

Meh saya kenalkan kat boss kitorg, Pn Shaharimin atau lebih dikenali sebagai Kak Min. Klu nk tau boss saya ni cun melecun mcm anak dara even da anak 3 ... sama la manager saya Kak Lina tuh pon cun jgk... x kasi can langsung kat anak buah. Hehe...

Haaa yg pakai baju merah belang2 itam tu la Kak Min, sebelah di pakai bj pink Kak Aliza, sebelah lagi satu pakai baju itam Kak Lina, yang pakai baju kuning plak Fatimah & kawan2 yang lain.

Menu hari tu boss yg msk sendiri. Ade laksa penang, meehoon sup, ayam golek, roti jala & kuih seri muka. Sedap btullll... x tipu pny... x sangke bos ade bakat terpendam

Bdk lelaki yang posing x igt tu anak bongsu boss, Naufal. Sebelah Naufal tu Yan (baru kawen) & Kak Ros. Naufal ni mmg sebijik mcm ibunya, comel & nakal2 cket. Ekeke... jgn mara boss "Oiii awat dok depan pintu kira duit raya tu. Mcm toll plak. Malu ibu ni... " Haaa sape nk blk da tu jaga2 la kene bayar toll kat Naufal. Hehe... bijak2...

Masa kat umah boss, saya tertarik kat boss pny miniature collections. Dlm small cabinet ni koleksi pinggan mangkuk kecik cotet... Small cabinet ni attached kat dinding. Koleksi ni bos beli mase pi meeting2 kat oversea tu.. selain koleksi fridge magnet (x tunjuk kat sini). Memang menarik... leh la tiru nnt ;-)

Kueh raye kat bawah ni untuk perhiasan aje. Bkn untuk dimakan yea... botolnye pon lg kecik dpd kueh raye yg sebenar...

Kite pon nk 'enter frame' jgk tau... Maklum la baju baru la katekan... Nk menunjuk la tuh.. Nk citer, kain baju ni dibuat hantaran mase tunang. Kaching!! Yg wat peace tu Kak Ija, Kelate maghi.. Kak Yati, Saw Bee Mar, Kak Jie, Kak Zizah, Kak Zai..

Biasanya high time nk dekat raya ni, ramai yang nk tambah order la, br nk order la... disebabkan ramai yang mcm tu, bile ade kueh lebey je... sekelip mate kene sapu. Tgk2 da ilang jek... Haaa... jd klu nk order 'Idah's Exclusive cookies' jgn tunggu lame2... x merasa nnt... Mmg biasa la klu org order last minit kitorg x leh nk confirm & besenye mmg x dpt la... kecuali peluang tipis & mmg rezeki...

Memang tidak dinafikan harga 'Idah's Exclusive Cookies' ni mahal klu nk compare dgn harga pasaran. Kdg2 rupe pon lebey kurang same je dgn kueh2 kat luar kan. Tp klu tgk btul2 workmanship die quality (nampak lebih kemas) & dlm botol kueh 2... kueh rapat2... bkn2 jarang2 mcm kat kedai 2... 'Idah's Exclusive Cookies' pakai butter & klu bahan mcm cornflakes tu cthnye... 'Idah's Exclusive Cookies' pakai Kellogs tau... bkn cornflakes timbang kati mcm kebykan org jual ni... Jd klu anda pandai mers makanan... sure bole perasan pny ... Alamak... gamba kat atas ni x nampak clear la plak. B4 msk dlm blog ni nampak clear & besau... Xpe la... moh kite tgk satu2
