Friday Night Outing

The regular cycle of our married life; weekdays at Taman Melati and weekends at Bangi/Gamin. One word to honestly describe how felt about our schedule is interesting...

Being busy as we are... I got all excited on our Friday night outing (Feb 20th). Dearie.. did you share this feeling I had? We planned to watch Benjamin Button, the movie people talked so much about. It was the first time we ever tried the premiere class at GSC Signature, The Gardens since the other GSC cinemas were fully booked for BB.

After work, we headed straight away to The Gardens. The movie started somewhere around 9.30pm and so we went shopping for my 'kasut jalan-jalan' at Midvalley since the ones I had were not in very good shape. Can't find any at Vincci or Nose & I just knew that I would be able to find my shoes at this particular Japanese shop near Midvalley's foodcourt. So we went up & this is my new shoe. Orange color... SUKENYEEEE... Not so much into high heels nowadays since it always caused my cracked heels to crack further & letih laaa... not good for our knees also...

& then we decided or rather I insisted that we went to Carrefour, shopping for our frozen food. Despite him warning me that we won't reach home for another 5 hours to store the food in the freezer. Being a good wife that I am... I prepare and pack breakfast for my hubby (klu zaman bujang haram nk bangun awal 5 minit pon). Don't be impressed yet, they are all frozen food. Hehe... Better than nothing. & mucuk, I'm so proud of you coz it's very rare for a guy to bring 'bekal'. Mak showed me tempat isi bekal air she's knitted for you and you'd always bring it with you to school (sampai sek menengah). I should have taken the pic. Slalu derang malu kan...

& so and so... our movie started somewhere around 9.30. All the seats we arranged two by two and they are a little more spacious. The price for premiere class is double than the normal ticket. Berbaloi jgk la since the BB took about 3 hours, almost double the length of other movies. The movie was rather slow but it's unique nevertheless. Sgt sedey la coz the Ben & Daisy only got equal during their mid lives & rs terharu sgt watching Ben died in Daisy's arms AS A BABY. I tried putting myself in Daisy's shoes & rsnye teramat la perit. Mcm mana la nk pretend not to have anything to do with ur lover for the sake of your child & seeing your loved ones aging; turning into a teenager & then a child & then a baby...

Went back home very sleepy & happy..

Book Shopping Frenzy

Bragging is what I'm doing this instance...

Aren't you jealous? Look at how cheap I bought these books. Pls Grab Your Calculator NOWWW... It's second hand no doubt but if you go to MPH or Borders or Kinokuniya, you'll sure have to spend hundreds to get yourself 8 good books. ;0

I bought these books at ebay Malaysia from one seller only. If you are planning to buy a few books, it is advisable that you buy it from the same seller so that you can save on the postage charges. I checked on the reviews of each of the books at amazon.com before committing myself to bidding.

Princess and The Daughters of Arabia starting price is RM3.50 for both (crazy or what?!!) but in the end they were sold to me at RM23.25. There was another bidder and we kinda compete with each other 5 minutes before the bidding ended. Fortunately I won by merely 5 seconds. We bidded 40 bids altogether. Hehe...

I also lose in one bidding i.e. for The Curious Incident of The Dog, also a phenomenal book. I lose this one by merely 2 seconds. Ekekeke... Nvm... we can't have all the good things can we?

Bin Mustaffas & Partners to Genting

This trip had taken place quite a few weeks back, during one of the Mondays which was public holiday. I felt extremely reluctant when hubby asked me if we could go to Genting the day before. Hating last minute plan...

I was finally bought over by Mazli's persuasion, yelah... sumer adik beradik pergi kan which is very rare chance.

So oklah... we hitch on Mazli's car together with Glor or 'Gorila' - hubby punya sengaja tershashul...

Living at Taman Melati, this was ACTUALLY MY FIRST time going to Genting.

We tried a few games & had the one of best time of our lives. Rs seronok sgt... May b coz we were in a group.

Our first game was what Mazli called 'buai'. Tkt jgk woooo...

I didn't try Solero for fear of catching a heart attack but Arina yg berani-berani kucing tu pon selamber je... muke x tkt langsung ms tgk die kat atas tu, it occured to me that Solero is not as frightening as most people told me. As for Glor... asik2 pegi toilet sbb pening after each & every ride (mane xnye... asik tutup mate aje). Hehehe...

Petua Mengatasi Morning Sickness

Tahukah anda bagi mereka yang mempunyai masalah ‘morning sickness’, dengan hanya meminum ‘air hidup’ atau ’air bersih’ yang mencukupi, masalah ini dapat dihindari atau sekiranya berlaku ia lebih ringan dan lebih cepat pulih.

Sebenarnya petanda seperti loya, muntah, pening dan lain-lain ini disebabkan oleh dehidrasi ditambah pula dengan perubahan hormon sewaktu hamil. Mengidam makanan yang masam, masin atau yang pelik adalah petanda yang datang daripada bayi di dalam kandungan yang mungkin menagih kepada beberapa jenis mineral, garam atau mungkin juga dehidrasi. Jadi kalau amalan minum lima botol (500 ml) sehari diselangi dengan meletak sedikit garam di atas lidah untuk setiap botol, ia akan membantu masalah ini. Ia seperti magik kerana tidak lagi menghadapi masalah ‘morning sickness’ dan mengidam kalau mereka mengikut saranan ini dengan yakin dan istiqamah.

Wanita mengandung perlu mengambil kuantiti air yang banyak bagi mengelakkan dehidrasi kerana ia boleh membawa kepada pelbagai penyakit lain. Contoh seperti lelah, sakit kepala, mulut kering, lemah otot dan sebagainya. Disebabkan itulah wanita mengandung wajib mengambil air kosong sekurang-kurangnya dua liter sehari. Air kosong yang diambil pula, seeloknya datang daripada air yang ditapis atau air yang tidak tercemar bagi mengelakkan dijangkiti sebarang penyakit yang tidak diingini.

Pompong - Neutered

At last, antara kucing2 jantan yg kitorg bela... pompong la yg 1st dikembirikan...

Skrang makin manje... pg2 je da terlompat2 suro main dgn die... Suke sgt la tu...

Klu dok2 tgk tv.. bising die mengiau suro ribakan die... ngadenye... tp suke jgk, rs cam kiut sgt2...

Da lebey kurang 3 weeks pompong kene bedah. Steady da... Ini la instruction yg doc bg lepas pompong kene bedah tu.

PENJAGAAN SELEPAS PEMBEDAHAN

1. Anda perlu berhati-hati ketika membawa haiwan peliharaan anda pulang ke rumah selepas pembedahan. Cuba elakkan daripada menggerakkan atau menyentuh kawasan yang baru dibedah.

2. Haiwan peliharaan anda akan mengambil masa sekitar 1-3 jam untuk mula sedar dari kesan sampingan pelalian anastetik. Ketika ini adalah penting untuk meletakkannya die tempat yang selamat, terlindung dan sunyi untuk pulih supaya ia tidak terjatuh atau tercedera kerana ketika ini ia masih lemah dan tidak dapat mengimbangkan badannya dengan betul akibat kesan pelalian yang diberikan.

3. Letakkan haiwan peliharaan anda di atas kain atau kertas suratkhabar untuk memanaskan badan mereka. Ia juga mungkin terkencing atau buang air besar dalam keadaan separuh sedar ini dan oleh itu pastikan keadaanya sentiasa bersih dan kering. Pompong da terkencing dalam bakul dlm keadaan separuh sedar.

4. PERHATIAN!!! Berilah haiwan peliharaan anda minum hanya setelah ia boleh bangun dan berjalan dengan betul kerana jika ia belum sedar sepenuhnya, ia boleh lemas dalam air. Kadang-kadang binatang peliharaan anda hanya berselera untuk makan sehari selepas pembedahan (haiwan peliharaan anda mungkin mengambil masa sepanjang malam untuk pulih sepenuhnya daripada kesan pelalian pembedahan tersebut). X sampai sehari... pompong telah berselara makan yg luar biasa. Dalam proses penyembuhan ini adalah tidak asing sekiranya ia termuntah. Ini adalah perkara biasa dan anda tidak perlu cemas dengannya. Lepas 3-4 jam balik ke rumah - pompong muntah friskies die...

5. Kurung haiwan peliharaan anda sebaiknya di dalam kandang bagi tempoh 10-14 hari selepas pembedahan bagi mengehadkan pergerakan mereka. Ini bertujuan supaya luka pembedahan cepat sembuh. Pompong telah dibebaskan dari kurungan x sampai tempoh 12 jam selepas dibedah... da mcm kucing giler dok kat dlm sangkar tu... Sbb die x biasa dikurung. Jd, kite x nk la nnt kene anta die pi Psychiatry lak kan...

6. Periksa kawasan pembedahan sekurang-kurangnya sekali sehari dalam tempoh 2 minggu selepas pembedahan untuk memastikan luka pembedahan sentiasa bersih dan kering serta jahitannya tidak terbuka bagi mengelakkan berlakunya jangkitan kuman. Sekiranya bermasalah (pembengkakan, keluar cairan berdarah/bernanah atau jahitannya terbuka, sila hubungi doktor haiwan anda dengan segera)

7. Sesetengah haiwan peliharaan mempunyai balutan di kawasan pembedahan. Biarkan sehingga 3-4 hari selepas pembedahan asalkan balutan tersebut bersih dan kering. Tidak mengapa sekiranya binatang peliharaan anda menanggalkan balutan itu dengan sendiri sebelum tempoh 3-4 hari tersebut. Ia juga mungkin menjilat atau menggigit kawasan pembedahan tersebut tetapi pastikan ia tidak dilakukan dengan berlebihan.

8. Elakkan daripada memandikan haiwan peliharaan anda untuk tempoh sekurang-kurangnya 7 hari selepas pembedahan. Cuma lapkan ia dengan kain yang lembap sekiranya kotor atau comot tetapi pastikan kawasan jahitan itu kering kerana air mungkin bole masuk dan mengakibatkan berlakunya jangkitan. Pompong x dimandikan lg... musyuk la die tu... tu la klu kite x sempat mandikan die, xde sape nk tolong... Hampeh... Nsb baik bau hancing kat bdn die dah ilang, kesan die terkencing dlm keadaan separuh sedar tu...

9. Anda bole datang kembali ke Klinik Kembiri untuk rawatan pos-pembedahan dengan percuma selepas 2 minggu pembedahan (sila telefon dahulu untuk memastikan klinik beroperasi). Sesetengah binatang mungkin memerlukan jahitannya dibuang dan ini boleh dilakukan ketika ini.

10. Sekiranya terdapat sebarang masalah yang timbul selepas pembedahan dilakukan, sila hubungi doktor haiwan anda dengan segera.

Dinner at Marche - Celebrate Besday Adik

Adik's (Azizi) Birthday - 28th Jan

We had dinner at Marche, The Curve - the next day. Papa's treat. Marche used a unique concept where the restaurant looks somewhat like a marketplace & you have to present your passport at the food booth where you want to place the order & the food shall be prepared right there & then.

But to me... still can't challenge home cooked meal & bersidai depan tv & melepak bersama orang-orang & kucing-kucing kesayangan sambil menjamu selera.

Next time I have got to remember to snap on the food.

A Famosa

I hope this story is not 'basi' since we went to A Famosa from end of Dec 08 to early Jan 09. I can say we had fun since we were free from work & xde ape nk risau tp nk kata we had too much fun there is an overstatement. Tpkan... wa ckp sama lu, seronok la jln rapat2 berpegangan tgn dan mcm2 aksi lg la without even a pinch of guilt. Jd ape lg... yg masih berkire2 tu... cepat2 la ikat.

Ms mule2 kenal... I don't see my hubby as handsome (taste mase tu lah... suke lelaki yg gelap & mata besar, bulu mate lentik sumer cam ala2 mamak). But as time passed by, kejap I rs hubby I encem, kejap rs die cute la comey la... mcm2 lg. Tp xde la overhypnotized cam citer Shallow Hal tu.

Bile msk cowboy town ni, the only free thing is the carnival show. For each of the games & also 4D movie you'd have to fork out somemore money. X syiok la... da la kene byr utk entry pass. It's not like it's only RM10. I think around RM38 per person. Well, may be it is reasonable to charge some more, but still... rs x syiok lahhh.

Ni la... gamba2 bunga api yg kitorg dpt snap that day. Tgk bunga api ni leh menimbulkan perasaan tenang & kagum...

Hubby... feeding the camel at Animal Safari. Camel ni mmg manje sgt... Terigt pula kate2 ade sorang kenalan dr UAE, Noaman Al Ali. "Camel ni binatang yg 'passionate', penyayang. Cth klu seekor ibu unta mmg sgt syg dgn anaknya". Tp tuhan lebih menyayangi beliau. Memang x sangka dgn usia semuda itu. I hope by remembering that "death will come any time", I'll be more optimistic & cheerful about life, every single precious day.
